Fundamental to the policy is that the company does not tolerate violence, threats, discrimination, bullying, harassment or other behaviours of an abusive, humiliating or offensive nature. In addition: 

●       Everyone is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment where they show mutual respect for each other.

 

●       Everyone is encouraged to respond to inappropriate, harassing or abusive behavior in the situation.

 

●       Anyone who witnesses inappropriate, harassing or abusive behavior is encouraged to report the matter to management, the union representative or other caregiver (see contact information below).

 

●       The company wants to promote an open and responsible culture where everyone can feel safe by saying no, or by raising concerns about harassing or abusive behavior.

 

●       The company always takes the offended party's experience of the situation as the starting point, and undertakes to investigate the situation thoroughly and draw the necessary consequences.

Discrimination is defined as any form of unjustified discrimination based on gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, political opinion, sexual orientation, gender identification, physical or mental disability or social background - this list is not exhaustive.
