Over the course of 10 years, director Jessica Nettelbladt ("MonaLisa Story", "I am my own Dolly Parton”) follows Erik who was once Linda. Now, a young man in his 20ies it’s clear that the transition he has been in doesn’t solve all the things, he has carried with him for a long time. Encouraged by his girlfriend, Erik sets out for a spiritual journey and walks the camino. This is a close and poetic coming-of-age story.

Jessica Nettelbladt
Jessica is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and director whose specialty is in-depth personal interviews. Ms. Nettelbladt has also written two books “Life and livelihood as a documentary filmmaker” (2012), and “Voices behind prison walls” (2018), set in prisons for women. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg, majoring in filmmaking along with degrees in film directing and documentary filmmaking from the Stockholm University of the Arts and the Biskops Arnö vocational university college, as well as a diploma from IHTV, the Swedish School of TV. In addition to film-related subjects, Jessica has also studied psychology and has extensive experience of working with marginalized and vulnerable groups in society.
Her critically acclaimed film I Am My Own Dolly Parton was screened in cinemas and film festivals, and aired on TV both in Sweden and internationally. MonaLisa Story received numerous awards in Sweden and abroad along with a Guldbagge nomination for Best Documentary in 2017.
